Hi! I went for iftar buffet with 10 people on the 16th of July and had to face an unwanted situation in front of my guests. I asked the staffs to prepare my bill and informed them I will pay by Master Card (worldwide) and before that I asked in inbox messages regarding all the details and confirmed that I can pay for 10 people (buy one get one) with one card. Someone called me from the hotel to confirm my reservation as well. When I was ready to pay then the staffs informed me that I can't pay for 10 people with one card but only for two people. I told him about the messages exchanged and he brought his manager then I had to explain him again and showed him the messages. Then he brought the reservation manager where I had to explain once more. In front of all my guests, it was quite an embarassing situation and if I didn't have them written then in no way I could prove it. I also didn't see any VAT registration number on my bill copy. I hope you will take care of these kind of situations and your teams should co ordinate before they give out any kind of information to the customers.
